Western Canada Rabbit & Cavy Fanciers is a club for all rabbit and cavy enthusiasts (breeders and pet owners alike) residing in Canada’s four western provinces: Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. We are devoted to celebrating our love of rabbits & cavies, and the hobby of raising them.

      WCRCF is a web based club, and as such, we conduct all of our meetings and discussions online enabling us to maintain a wide spread membership that reaches out to rabbit and cavy enthusiasts in many locations. The WCRCF hopes to support local clubs by working with them to promote, educate and support rabbit and cavy fanciers alike and create a new growth and awareness of this wonderful hobby.
     Our executive is spread out over western Canada with local Directors in each of the 4 western provinces. We as a club also realize the importance of youth participation and acknowledge that our youth are the future. We have specifically designated youth Directors who are dedicated to focusing on our youth members of the club.

Why should I join?
     By joining our club you will receive a unique chance to connect with other enthusiasts all across western Canada like never before. Or members’ area boasts a sizable message board with discussions on all aspects of raising rabbits and cavies making it a great place meet other people who share the same passion. Our meetings are held in a members’ chat room so there is no need to travel to meetings if you wish to attend. Club decisions are made by anonymous voting done by polls posted on the message boards which gives all members of the club a chance to participate in decisions made by the club. We encourage our members to promote their hobby in their local area and encourage others to participate in club events.
